Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, Inc. Training Center 7100 Riverwood Drive Columbia, MD 21046 From I-95 North and South: Take 32 west (Columbia) exit. Take 32 west to the Shaker Drive/Eden Brook exit. Bear right onto Eden Brook Dr. Proceed to stop light and turn right onto Old Columbia Road; continue on for 1 mile (through the Rivers Industrial Park). Make a left on Riverwood Drive. The customer training and Education Center is the first building on the right. From U.S. 29 north and south: Take 32 east (toward Ft. Meade) to Shaker Drive/Old Columbia Rd. exit (first exit you will come to). Exit route 32 onto Old Columbia Road. Proceed through stop light and continue on for 1 mile(through the Rivers Industrial Park). Make a left on Riverwood Drive. The customer training and Education Center is the first building on the right.

From Washington and all points south: Proceed north on I-95 to exit 47B, Route 166. Follow Route 166 toward Catonsville and follow the signs to UMBC. Keep right on Hilltop Circle (the loop around campus). Take the first road on the left to get to the Administration Garage. Park on the metered lot located on the roof of the garage. Parking anywhere else may cost you a ticket!!! Walk on Campus Main Street (pedestrians only) toward the Albin O. Kuhn Library. The Chemistry Department (Meyerhoff Bldg.) is on the left side before the pond. Don’t enter the building from the ground level. Instead, take the steps on the left, outside the building, and enter from the first floor door on your right. Signs for the MSDG meeting will be posted. The talk will be held in the seminar room on the first floor of the Meyerhoff Bldg. From Baltimore: Proceed south on I-95 to exit 47B, Route 166. Follow Route 166 toward Catonsville and follow the signs to UMBC. From I-695 (Baltimore Beltway): Take exit 12C – Wilkens Ave. and continue 0.5 mile to the entrance of UMBC on the left, onto Hilltop Road. Use parking lot 10 or parking lot 16 (50 cents). Signs to the parking lots are posted on Loop Road.

Turn left on Washington St. and proceed north to Madison (or park in the garage at the corner of Washington and Monument, one block south of Madison). Turn left on Madison and left again on Wolfe.
